I called them to see that the items they were shipping one by one was not charged their full price to my CC because the invoices listed them as full retail price. So the kind lady explained that the usb zip was out of stock and that the order it was canceled. She said it was canceled because she doesnt think they will be getting any more of them in. Notice that it was not past their 7 day back order cancel thing. So she said she will put a note into the deilvery dep. to have them call me back and see what is going on. we all know how these goes, im gonna have to call them back>🙂

So everyone with this still on backorder, you might want to call om and see what is going on and make sure nothing was canceled.....

That doesn't sound good. I placed my order on 6/3. Everything arrived on 6/5 except the Quicksync, which took another two days.
The invoice shows $12.50 for each of the 4 Iomega products.

user3657 - If OM tries to stiff you on the Iomega deal, simply dispute the charge with your CC company. Worst case is that you have to return the software. Best case is that you get the OfficeXP for free. OM advertised this deal as a single line item bundle with one OM P/N and that is what they must deliver. It would be different if you had to purchase each item seperately and then send in the rebate. Also, you might want to print out your online order confirmation/receipt showing the bundle deal ASAP. OM is netorious for changing your order or deleting it completely from their online system.

I don't think they will try to stiff you... I just got off the phone with them and was
informed that the rebate has been extended 6 weeks due to some of the products in
the bundle being backordered. So here's the scoop as they told it to me:

1. Those who purchased by 6/13/01 will have until 7/27 to have their rebate
postmarked.

2. When mailing in rebate, the ORIGINAL IOMEGA UPC's must be included, and a photocopy
of the Office XP UPC will be acceptable due to that UPC being attached to some
certificate or document that is part of Office XP.

Hope this helps.
