I'va always had pretty good luck with OM FAR offerings. Rebates actually came relatively fast for me (e.g. Sakar/iConcepts rebates) .

Edit: Forgot to say thanks! ;) It's always good to have a reminder of the OM flyer.

my local OfficeMax is substituting the Lexar with MicroAdavantage 64mb USB 2.0 thumbdrives. The Lexar's been in sale for 2-3 weeks now, and some of the Omax stores are probably OOS already. For $10 out the door, it's a very good deal and a perfect filler item to use $10 off $40.

From personal experience, the Lexar 64MB does about 900K read and write, while the Micro Advantage one does over 4000K. However, the Lexar 128MB one does over 6000K read and write speed...odd.

MicroAdvantage comes with a little ring for you to put on your keychain and it has the driver cd (for win98/SE). It's somewhat bigger than the Lexar though.

I believe the $10 off $10 was a coupon sent through regular (snail) mail.

The 10 off 10 was available to subscribers of Computerlandcentral a few weeks ago, and it's still valid now. But the 10 off 10's hosted location doesn't work now. It doesn't mention anything like "no copies" so I just print one out whenever I need to buy $10 worth stuff and head by the local Omax.

Growltiget is correct: it was sent via snailmail, but someone at Complandcentral scanned a copy and posted it a while ago. :) It's saved me $10 many times already ;)

The FAR mouse is IBM or Labtec. One of the 3 SKUs for the FAR keyboard is the Belkin basic keyboard.

Lots of sweet FAR and sale items this week. I got the labtec mouse, Dazzle SD/MMC reader and mad dog sound card.

The pen drive is backordered when you put it in the basket...
And this is what it says in description of the item:
Backorders will NOT be filled :(

Edit: which probably means, you have to go to the store and check...

Good news in B&M. They substituted the Micro Advantage USB2 64MB drive. No rebates needed: $9.99 - $10 off $10 coupon = $0 for us. Our local OMax manager and cashiers are awesome :)

They sub'd a Belkin 64MB for me. Darn thing is HUGE! My bro bought a noname one from Fry's a while back and was barely wider than a USB connector - fit in the back of your PC no problem.

Why can't ALL these guys make SMALL USB drives?

I found the whole linkified deals on officemax from this link, but the page does not allow me to copy paste here directly, so I just post the link here. If anyone can, please copy it.

I am wondering if the hard-drive deal is good.

Also, I heard that officemax does not allow FAR with coupon code now. So do you think I can order more than 50 in 1 FAR order, and order another one using coupon and include the HD?
