Micro Advantage 1gb usb drive has been on clearence since January.

It seems to me that OM may be getting out of selling computer/electronic items. Their

electronic aisles look bare.

The store that i went to had a huge clearence section full of computer related stuff.

DVD media, routers, video cards, sound cards, etc....

I like this price - will go nicely in several systems that I either need a drive in or could use duals. Hmmmm.....now how to get multiples...back to the *what counts as a new visit/customer/order game*.

Do you have to show this maxperks id to get these coupons ? ALso, do you have to be a teacher or something to get these maxperks?

Thanks

Just signup for officemax perks at the store and use the coupon.....anyone can signup for perks. Its just like the Best Buy rewards zone.

Not for a long time now. The newer production models use a Cornice "storage element" drive, which is basically a micro-HD head/platters, but a not any sort of standard interface.

It's been that way for a long time, this was first reported in Hot Deals six months or more ago; most stores probably don't have any left.

I didn't price check at the register, but the price tag for that 1 GB drive said 59.99.
Also the Mad Dog 3-in-1 drive was 39.99 (register scanned), not 29.00 like the OP posted.

I saw there was a lot more on clearance than just what the OP posted as of Wednesday.

They had a whole rack of flash drives... 64MB drives were $9 128MB were 19. There were some clearances on external hard drives and webcams, but they were lukewarm.

Clearance stock and prices will vary by region. For instance, on the planet Mars, everything in the store is an extremely HOT deal.

Do you know what its speed is? It would be nice if I could use it with my A95 digital camera.
