I just purchased a D-460Z, which is almost the same camera, but with a 3X optical zoom, and I couldn't be more pleased (unless the camera had a built-in USB connection...). The picture quality is excellent, the camera is much faster than any of the others I've tried when recording pictures to media (it takes 1-2 seconds to record a HIGH quality photo where my Dad's Sony takes 3-5 seconds for a standard quality), the battery life is very good, the documentation is quite thorough, and the software/drivers are also pretty good, although I use my own photo editing software. I think that you would be very pleased with the 360 if you don't need a zoom (the 2X digital zoom isn't even worth using in my opinion) but I've really enjoyed having that extra zoom feature on my camera!
Just my opinions, but I hope it helps you decide.
btw, I also did a price match at Staples and got a free 16MB memory card in the bargain, but you may want to check and still see if they have that deal. (their price was $399 with the free 16MB card and I got it for $319 with the card when I pricematched it with Amazon.com...)
