Olympus Camera with a 30x optical zoom (SP-800-UZ)

Has anyone ever tried this camera, the Olympus SP-800-UZ? It claims to have a 30x optical zoom. What I wonder about is whether or not the image stabilizer on it could possibly allow you to take a sharp hand held daylight photo at a 30x zoom.
 
at iso 100 in bright daylight the proper exposure for an f/5.6 lens is 1/2000 shutter. that'd probably be sharp.
