I don't know much about cameras, I do know the C3030 is a 3.34 Megaixel and the A60 is ~ 2. So technically the C3030 should be better but i figure there is a lot more to it than that. I can get both for sub 250. which should i get?

TIA

What are your needs? Size? Picture quality?

I own a C4000, and love it, but I'm sure the A60 is a great camera as well. A big plus for the A60 is the ability to take greater than 128mb of RAM (the C3030, with SM instead of CF, can only take 128).

A60 is more of a point & shoot for the novice. The C3030 can be used in the same manner plus if you are willing to invest some time . . . you can learn to exert significant control over the pictures you shoot.
