Olympics delay next Star Wars movie!

Someone told me today Lucas was shooting scenes for the next Star Wars flick in Sydney but the olympics (for whatever reason...lack of hotels?) forced them to move to Europe until the games are completed. Any truth to this and is Jar-Jar participating in any events?

Nope. The shortness of the shoots can be attributed to all the sets being blue screens or green screens. You see, George plans on adding all of the sets later in the computer. This is from Cinescape; I'm not making it up. He's now at the Tunisia location if I'm not mistaken, and then later they'll move on to the European locations.


[Edit] Sorry, I was mistaken, they are in their European segment of shooting. They wrapped shooting in both Spain and Italy very quickly. Unfortunately, Cinescape has all their pages in java so I can't link directly to a file. [/Edit]

Matrix2 is going to be a hard movie to make successfully. The Matrix is just too awesome, IMO.
