They are swimmers. Thorpe is an Australian and is a great swimmer. I think he has like 3 gold medals. Phelps is a young American who is quite good also and was supposed to go up against Thorpe later today I think.

It doesn't matter if its in the past or not. When you go see a movie, you don't go posting every detail online and ruin it for others without posting "spoiler" in the title. Same with video games or anything else you've seen before someone else has.
