thanks, i feared that maybe someone might strap me into a chair, fix my eyelids open and force me to watch it, clockwork orange style.

i forgot how things cease to exist when you ignore them. thanks for the tip.

I'm glad I could help distract your from worrying needlessly over things you need not concern yourself with.

I enjoy the winter olympics because it's an eclectic combination of winter sports that I only see every four years.

In fact, I have tickets to three events (bobsled, ladiers aerials, and cross country skiing) for next month in Vancouver. Of course, I'm going super budget. I'm staying with relatives and picked up tickets for face value on the official website as the people who bought too many of them are starting to dump them on the marketplace there.

Now I need to pick a curling game to see...

I knew someone that ran with the torch once back in the mid 90s. I didnt hold it, but I was a few feet away from it.

Our Chairman is hugely involved in the Olympics here, so there was an internal contest to win a chance to carry the torch for a bit. I did not even enter because I really do not care and I will actually be getting out of town during that time.

I just want to the whole thing to be over.
