Heh, I think there was already some controversy over students using the OLPC to look at porn. I'm too lazy but search for it on Google, I'm sure you'll be able to come up with some articles.

This has been beaten to death every single time the OLPC is mentioned in anything. If it's not this it's OMG they should be giving them rice instead of laptops! Nevermind the fact that you'd be putting their domestic rice growers out of business, further worsening their sucky economy.

The whole idea of the OLPC and similar projects is to make our modern information infrastructure cheap for developing countries so they'll develop more quickly. No system's perfect, get over it.
