The quote in your sig is from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, a truly brilliant movie. The guy at The Very Big Corporation who says that goes on to espouse some truly deep and primal philosophy about the ur meaning of life itself. When he finishes, another guy ponders deeply, then asks, "What was that about hats, again?"

I love that movie, not the least because it made my Dad laugh when I took him to see it while my Mom was dying. :thumbsup:

The fact that movie's are made different almost 30 years later. Watch a funny movie from the 70s and 80s and you will find the plot is much slower then newer movies. The movie is also supposed to be a sequal to the Christmas Story, which was funny when I was a kid but is kind of is showing its age nowadays.

And I just noticed the Old Man has a serious nicotine habit but did not in the other two movies.
Were they worried they'd offend the audience with smoking? That wasnt even an issue in 1983.
