Maybe they can also get some of those "Fast and Furious" guys to sign up too.

Eric Holder, Robert Mueller...

Uh, huh. There a ton of headlines on right wing sites usually ending with a '?" attempting to make this point. Can you site something from when Fast and Furious was actually a thing showing real involvement from Mueller in an operation that was run by the ATF?

Wouldn't Iran-Contra be considered sufficient qualification for this job? He does have the public speaking skills for it.:p

He was a hero in Viet Nam, broke a lot of laws in the White House, has made a fortune as a right wing talking head since then.

So an group that is essentially becoming a terrorist organization chooses as its head a man that literally committed treason. Seems to fit if nothing else.

Yes, Ollie was part of the coverup of Reagan's involvement. A loyal guy who didn't rat out the Boss. That's why he's a Hero to the right wing.

It really says more about them than they realize.

He's a "yes man" -check
Is a liar -check
Has no moral conscious and follows orders blindly -check
Was apart of the "deep state" -check
Willing to cover up for his boss-check

All great qualities for an authoritarian cabal.

Selling weapons to Iran (an enemy of the U.S. at the time) was a big part of his scheme. The other part was misappropriating the proceeds to fund rapists and murderers in Nicaragua. He also stole some of the money for personal use. I can see why Republicans worship him.

Just wtf is the criteria to being the President of the NRA? Most organizations would choose someone with good management skills or perhaps communication skills. This just seems like a choice based upon how controversial the person is.

It's really become stick it in the eye type of shit anymore with conservatives. If they know liberals hate whoever it is, it makes conservatives have orgasms.

To be factual it doesn't matter who they pick. The left would rip them apart as they have for the last couple of years with anyone that supports the current administration...
