I'm not exactly sure why Corporate Thug said it would be bad for gaming. I have a Westinghouse 32 Inch LCD HDTV and I use it as my primary monitor with it connecting via VGA. It's not that exact model since got it from Best Buy on blackfriday and lacks DVI. I just bought a DVI to HDMI cable from the egg to see if the quality will be better than vga, although vga still looks pretty good. I also game on it and its amazing, can't wait to try a 360 on it.
 
I have an Olevia 32" lcd tv which I use to watch tv and movies. I like it alot. 700 bucks for a 37 inch model sounds pretty good to me.
