He has my vote.....Probably one of them most hardware knowledgeble guys around...He checks emotion at the door, stay unbiased towards brand loyalty, and never stops asking why....Olfart and I recently have been mirroring our hardware purchases so I see first hand how he really gets into the hardware aspect of things....Definitely one of the few guys here where when he speaks I take notes...
 
Although I don't post much here on Anandtech, I try to keep up on everything by reading here just about every day. In my time here, Oldfart has always been willing to help (his time in the CPU forums stands out the most in my mind), and I think that fact alone should make him an elite member.
 
There's a lot of good folks hereat AT but Oldfart is certainly a cut above the rest. There's just a few people here who really seem to be grounded no matter what's going on around them and he's one. One of the most knowledgable and helpful guys here at AT. Make him Elite.
 
oldfart's the man! Not only is he in the know with new hardware he always has the info you need on the old stuff too, saving you a google search 😎 In the final analysis it's of little importance wether he has the member ranking or not, anyone who's been here awhile knows he is 😉
 
I don't think I have a vote but if I did I'd give it to OLDFART for sure.
