Older sound card - can you help?

Hi ...see who may have had a similar thing happen.

Have an older Addonics sound card - it has the Yamaha chip - and is labeled A151-830 - is ISA.
Found a couple of drivers that are supposed to work - first did not - 2nd loaded all the way - seemed to work - but would lock. Went to safe mode - and found that it had loaded a few extra (like 5 or 6) MS sound type programs/drivers in the device manager (does not show in regular windows).

Is this normal for the Yahmaha chipset/sound setup? - to install all the MS stuff (hidden it seems). I am thinking that I would have an OK install but for this. Any ideas?
