Older Slot 1: Are these 2 MoBos so much junk?

Ok, here's the situation: I got 2 slot1 mobo's from eb*y. Turns out they are Magitronic EX/LX boards. All ok so far, as I was just going to upgrade a couple of my fleet machines with some Celeron 400, or maybe more if I could OC them.

Here's the problem. They won't POST. Period!! I have a DMAN ISA Diag card, and I get nothing on the display. All voltages seem to show good, and the CPU fan attached to the MoBo header powers up. But I get no BIOS post codes at all.

I have tried an AT and an ATX power supply, 2 different Celerons (Both of which I know are good, since they work in another board I have.)

Does anyone have any ideas on what I might be missing, or what I can try differently? Or am I just hosen-gluben??

Thanks.

That the cpu fan blows is a good sign.Lx=66 mhz bus,and mobos that old are jumpered. If they arent jumpered right for your cpu, they will not post.Do a real good search on the web,and see if you can find a pin diagram.
