Creating a poll for this one. Just curious as to who has what games, and their preference. This is between Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament only. No other or new games.

So, if everyone hasn't forgotten about them, what do you say? Q3A, or UT? Or, do you love both equally.

OK i voted but its useless. AT Forums = full of UT zealots who don't have the skills necessary to kick ass in Q3A. :)

Aye! UT is a stinker of a game for people whose reflexes are too slow to play Q3A effectively. I only own UT because it was free after rebate...

I think UT is better looking (textures and graphics) but Q3A is more fun to play because the physics of the game is by far superior to UT. (Obviously alot more math and physics code went into Q3A)

Really? Q3A is a fine looking game, but Unreal looks better, IMO, and the characters seem more real (breathing, pausing to rest when hurt, etc.) I don't see any of that in Q3A, but
the characters do have good moves, and you have to be accurate as hell.

dunno, from the last time i saw the levels in ut, they looked so artificial. i guess they don't have any of that q3 fully rounded surfaces. but anyways, anyone can own in ut if they own in q3. unfortunately it doesn't work out the other way. i've always thought the elite q3 players can dominate in any game. you can drop an elite player in counter-strike and he'll own after he gets acquainted. i've just never seen any elite q3 players in ut because well, they think it's ghey ;)

I play both almost daily and I must say that I prefer q3 only because it's more of a challenge (at the harder skill levels). Q3 is much faster and the weapons are much better IMHO (the dual handguns in UT are quite good though).
