older cpu question here

i just built granny a new computer, and i have sitting here her old
case ect...

it is one of those goofball compaq designs, so i cant do too much with it

ok here is the question: it has installed a socket 7 board, running a cyrix mii 333@250mhz [gotta love compaq] is this swappable with a
k6 2/3? sandra says it will handle 400mhz or higher but im not sure about the cyrix amd compatablitiy...........

anyone?

use that information and see what the max cpu(in terms of which one and mhz) it will support
