Older computer will not turn on (RESOLVED)

Hello everyone. Longtime reader first time poster.
in any event, here's my problem:
My older computer was working fine for months (3+ years, actually) with no problems. I ran it the other day to get some files off it, and it worked perfectly. Now, i press the power button, and nothing happens. Nothing. I've tried switching out the power supply to see if it was that, but it didn't work. I've also tried using different power buttons and manually bridging the two pins to turn the computer on, but that didn't help. a friend suggested i take out the put back in the mobo in case it was touching anything, but it's worked fine for years and i don't think that's the problem. Any suggestions? Ideas? Theories? I'm fairly technically literate but this problem is completely escaping me. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Here's my system setup:
Epox 8KHA+ motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
Seagate Baracuda 40gb
Maxtor (basic series, i rorget the name) 80gb
Lite-On CD-RW (24x12x4)
Pioneer Slotloading DVD drive
NVidia GeForce FX 5200
Hercules Game Theatre XP (first release)
Dual port NIC (i think it's IBM, not positive)
Enermax 330w power supply

I'm thinking it's motherboard related. You swapped the PS which is the first thing any of us would have recommended.

Take a close look for blown capacitors. Other than that, start disconnecting devices, cards, etc. until it boots. Or do the reverse, disconnect everything but the Processor, Ram and Video and add in from there.

By nothing you mean nothing? No fan spin ups or anything?

no fan spin ups, no beeps, no anything. the mobo has onboard LED diagnostics but nothing's turning on. it's as if the power cable isn't even plugged in.

i'll start removing devices and let you know how it goes.

i got it running again, but with only video card and ram. once everything's back, i'll let you know if it still works...

thanks for the help.

everything is in and turned on. I'm thinking it might have been an outlet problem, but in any event, the problem is fixed.
