I have aquired an older 3 Com 3C905 Revision A 10/100 NIC with parallel processing...Is it worth replacing my Linksys 10/100 Card that I'm currently using?

I'm hooked to a Linksys Eitherfast Cable/DSL router to the RCA Cablemodem....

All running 10/100...Any comments?

Thanks all!:)

Unless you are looking to squeeze every possible drop of speed from your system, I'd say no. The 3Com card will take some of the burden from your CPU, and the LinkSys card (in my experience anyways) just does not seem to have the same throughput as other cards I've used, but these differences are, in my opinion, negligible. If I had to do other surgery on my computer, then I would replace it. Otherwise, to me, it wouldn't be worth the effort.
