Guys,

I have the first generation Xbox 360 that has only the A/V port on the back and no HDMI port.

I bought a new TV and A/V receiver and wanted to consolidate all the cables by using HDMI (not component + optical for audio) for my devices. I was shocked today to find out that my Xbox 360 does not have an HDMI port! :(

Is there an adapter I can buy for this?

I would really like to use an HDMI cable for it and don't want to spend $300 on a new Xbox 360 Slim just so I can use a HDMI cable.

HELP!

Sell it on craigslist and buy a new 360. That way you wont have to worry about having any issues with your console. I fetched $170 for my 360 with only a 20gb hard drive, 1 wireless controller and all the power hookups with the standard av cables LOL

Yeah just get a new 360. They've had HDMI for years - I bought a 360 "Pro" in early 2008 and even it had HDMI. Also they added HDMI at roughly the same time they started introducing the more reliable Falcon consoles. So you'll get a more reliable system as well.
