Old Volvos & the North East

I live in NJ and I rarely see any old volvos not to mention many new ones.

Huh? I'm in NJ - fancy suburb - and there are tons of volvo's around. Lots of parents who believe the "extra safe for children" commercials.

I believe the reply about no rust has a lot to do with old volvos and the Northeast.

It's a stupid myth that Volvos are built like tanks and don't bend much when you crash them.

On the contrary, Volvo was one of the first car companies to use crumple zones on their cars, sacrificing the car's body for the occupants' safety.

LOL have you ever crashed a volvo? I have twice and it's a tank.
