Old Video Card Question

Hello all. I have a question about a few old video cards. Right now I have a Gainward GeForce3 card in my system and I have it hooked to my main monitor (of course). A friend of mine gave me another monitor and I would like to set it up to use also. I don't have a DVI adapter to hook it up to the Geforce3 also, but I do have an old PCI Voodoo3 3000. Do you think that me adding this old Voodoo3 card will cause any problem with my system, such as driver conflicts, etc.

Yes, I know I have an old system, so please don't tell me I should upgrade. I just got married and bought a house in the past three months so I have no many to upgrade anything. I just want to know if the above setup will cause any problems. I have heard of Voodoo cards not working properly with other cards because of driver conflicts.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!!

I used to run two cards for dual monitors awhile ago. I ended up going with a geforce as my AGP and a cheap PCI Matrox 2MB with good results. I dunno about Voodoo though. I think the Matrox was like $15 from an online retailer several years ago.

I tried a cheap I/O magic PCI card before the Matrox & it was no good. Try your voodoo out and see what happens :)

I didn't know if the Voodoo3 itself would cause any problems. I might look into a cheap card of some sort if the Voodoo3 won't work. Thanks for the suggestion Mr. Pepper.
