Old Video card and New Driver

Would you benefit by installing the latest driver from Nvidia website if you have such an old card (geforce2GTS 32MB) ?? Or should I just install the driver that came with the card ?? (the os is win2k server).

Thanks

I have a gf4mx440 which is slightly newer, and the new dets are optimized with the fx in mind. But on certain occasions, I do see an increase in performance, quality, and just overall smoothness. It wouldn't hurt to try and find which drivers works best for you.

i'd say no, more trouble than its worth. im using 30.82 for my ti4200. don't stick with what came with the card, but something a little newer, but not the latest crap coming out. i've heard 4xxx series runs faster but at a cost to visual quality. use what i use, or use the 29.42 (?).

azev,I`m using a GF2 Ti with latest 44.03 Nvidia drivers and I would have to say it`s worth installing them for the excllent image quality, normally I recommend you install the latest drivers unless they give you any problems, btw gaming wise I`ve yet to have any problems with them.

I have a GeForce 2 GTS, and I could not run Rise of Nations until I updated to the latest drivers in WinXP.
