Old TV died, Parents Finally upgraded

Hung it on the wall and had to put black Speaker mesh for the empty spaces thanks to the 4:3 cutout bleh, but it does not look bad at all.

LED LCD's are Awesome, Quality is great!

Cant get DLNA to work right (Figures) but everything else works well.


We have an older Receiver no HDMI, I bought an Optical Cable for the TV so netflix will work with our system, I did not know that it would pass all the Audio through, Anything HDMI(Only thing tested) works well, so I do not have to change modes on the receiver just to watch netflix which makes it a lot simpler to use.

Still have an 11 Year old Toshiba DVD player, we routed an HDMI cable for it for when he does replace it with a blu ray player heh.
