Old Toshiba 1755 Hard Drive upgrade question.

Hey everyone. If you are reading this, great, because I need some help. I convinced my mom that a hard drive upgrade for her Toshiba laptop would be a good step up from what she has now (some crap 4200 RPM 10GB 2mb cache). I bought her an Hitachi 40GNX (5400RPM, 8MB cache, 40GB). I know they are the same height ( both are 9.5mm). Has anyone here ever upgrades the hard drive on such a Toshiba laptop? If so, what suggestions do you have or tips?

It only takes 35 screws to swap out the HDD on that machine. Piece of cake.

Heh..you are correct. I installed it..and wow...never want to do that again. Not cool.
