OLD TIMERS (for here anyway): Song - Mama 'Kin

If you read this far, you're either the expert or knowledgeable, at least.

Aerosmith wrote this song (Steven Tyler, technically...no sh1t), and Guns N' Roses covered it on the "Lies" album. (Good album, BTW.)

What is it really about? It can't be as simple as it sounds.

What is your opinion of this song?

ps
College dorks; if you have to ask "What is "Aerosmith?" then just go away now, please. 😛

Either Uncle Salty or Google found your answer

memo to myself: buy more Aerosmith CDs. The only one of my long-lost viynl albums I've replaced is the immortal Toys in the Attic.

"Blood fills the alleys of my daddy's baby grand / ain't seen the daylight since I started this band . . . "

Wow, DaveSimmons; I never knew those were the correct lyrics. I have been jamming this tune and singing along (to the wrong lyrics) for about oh *cough-cough-ahem!* years now. 😱

Thanks, man. I get it now. 😱
