He's just being a crybaby because Radiohead (a band with REAL talent) usually clowns on Oasis at their concerts. Boo-hoo.

Noel may say some things he shouldn't say...but don't ever put down Oasis as a band. He's got a lot of talent although he talks a lot.......

Oasis concert sales and their success speak for themselves......they got REAL talent....

Radiohead.........I only liked Pablo Honey......other albums are just ok.

On the subject of System Of A Down, Gallagher commented: "Of all the bands that have gone before and all the bands that'll be in the future, I was around when the worst was around".

Wow, what is that guy smoking?

I bought Toxicity and I don't think SOAD is the shiz that everyone makes them out to be, but I also don't think Oasis is the shiz everyone makes them out to be. Don't get me wrong, Oasis is a good band, I just don't think they are the talent they proclaim to be. Sure they may sell tickets, but so does Britteny Spears.

Btw, I think Mogwai was talking about coming out with a shirt for Oasis like they did for Blur :D!

I like some Oasis stuff, and they've written some really good songs.

However, I saw them a few years ago, and... well, they sucked. They really did.

Oh well.

Oasis is just not as big here in the U.S. as they are in other countries. The thing is.....I think most people have never heard their good songs...which are mostly B-sides and singles released in the UK and other countries. I thought they were just good when I heard the albums...but those singles are far better than the songs most people here in the U.S. have heard so far.......

Hee hee - I always find Noel entertaining at least.

I think his recent comments on the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, no less, reflect a bit of desperation on the part of the increasingly washed-up Oasis, but at their best Oasis were a solid band (What's the Story Morning Glory is a brilliant pop album IMO), and I can't say he is wrong about the amazingly sucky SOAD.

Oasis is entering a new phase since the new album is the first one with the two new members who joined in 1999. Hopefully they'll get better musically.......
