Ok, I've turned to you all because I am admittedly over my head with an issue. Here is the rundown:
So, I work for an assisted living home, and we want to pump out a powerpoint slideshow via one of our unused cable channels (Much like you see in hotels with their proprietary channel.)
They have a BlondeTongue MAVM-861 Series A/V Modulator pumping out to channel 96 on our system. It is currently pumping out feed of there chapel broadcast to our clients who can't make it down for mass.
THE QUESTION: I would like to find a way to put a laptop that has VGA or S Video out to a switch, so that at the times the chapel isn't in use, they can see the PowerPoint slides to let them know the events for the day. Is this do-able? What would I need.
Other info: as of right now, the cameras in the chapel feed to the Modulator via coaxial. From what I can tell there is only coaxial on the modulator.
Are there A/V Modualtor Switches, or something that I could feed BOTH a VGA and coax signal and switch between?
Any help would be amazing!
