I miss Xtree Gold 🙁 And Terminate, the rest I miss too but Xtree was soooo good. Use it with terminate and you had the first means of multi tasking.

Start xtree, launch terminate - go to console in terminate, launch xtree again, launch doom and terminate was still running - downloading all your goodies. AHHH those were the days

Then you will obviously know what "PRUNE" does... 🙂 My fav was that it had a built in hex editor and picture viewer. Awesome stuff from back in the day. It still beats Explorer in terms of managability of files.
 
This thread brings back some memories of the "good ol' days". 🙁

I think that of those mentioned in this thread, WordPerfect for DOS is what I miss the most. Commander Keen is a close second.

But for the list of me, I can't remember the names of two of the games I played the most.
