old skool - anybody used to play Rainbow 6?

Specifically, the NATO V2.0 mod.. that is w/out having to join a clan or group or whatever. -- just started playing the game again a few nights ago and am itchin' for some fire-power!

if you are a FilePlanet member you can d/l the 1GB eXpansion pak to RS - Iron Wrath.

it's 3 complete missions and has the latest patch to the game. i just started it [just to 'see'; i haven't played RS yet] and the gfx look updated over the original game.

but that's what I'm tryin' to avoid.. "joining" something. Much less paying for it w/ a credit card ($6.95, I think, for FP) on a gamer site. I don't like giving my cc# to Amazon much less someplace like that.

first you ask for a RS mod . . . i give you the latest [with a disclaimer: "IF you are a FP member"] . . . and you still complain.

and IF you DO get the FP membership, you MUST cancel 5 DAYS b4 your SUB ENDS or you WILL automatically get charged for the NEXT month.

EDIT: Yes, FP 'basic' is free [ads] BUT you need the 'pay' service to get Iron Wrath.

"complain"? I'm not complaining 'just don't wanna send some place like FP my cc#.. I'd actually pay for the mods @ $6.95 but that "$6.95" could turn into a HUGE pain in the butt if my cc# was "misplaced".. sorry but it's happened to me before from a ?reputable? internet vendor and I'm not all that keen on a repeat fiasco.

and I've been trying Google (and Kazza) for a few days now and have come up dry

FP is as "safe" as any other major e-tailer . . . and your bank pays for fraud - not you. [if you are paranoid, change your cc number often].

anyway, FP says that the expansion is ONLY for the 'retail boxed version' but it worked fine with my OEM copy [free with Audigy2, i think]

uh huh, 3 months later.. sorry but I don't have a pay-check-worth of buffer$ to hold me over till the bank realizes it was fraud.. like I said, I've been there.

I'm not talking about anything to do w/ "expansion" or whatever. I'm looking for the NATO V2.0 weapons modification for Rainbow 6 and the Mission Pack: Eagle Watch. It was never for "sale', it was download-able "free-ware" from the good folks at ARMM.
