This may sound strange... but when I was a kid, I remember seeing a short film on HBO or something. It's about a guy who's alone in an office, and film or videotape comes to life, and crawls across the floor. The whole thing was shot in stop-frame animation... so it looked all jerky. The clip was only about 3 minutes long. The man hides in a closet, but huge piles of the tape crawl up the door, and finally sneaks its way into the closet. The man discovers that magnets will repel the evil film/tape... but he's overpowered by it. The filmclip ends with the guy being eaten by the pile of film/tape, and it crawls away. I remember seeing this clip a few times about 20 years ago. I have always remembered this, but I wish I could see it again! Has anyone ever seen this clip? I think it was on HBO, and it was a short film used as filler between movies. It was very impressive, as a 3 minute film made with stop-frame animation takes forever to make. I was a child and was scared to death of it. I wish I could see it again, since it's intrigued me ever since I was a child.
