Old serial port to usb - How to connect?

I just bought a new laptop that has 3 USB ports but no old style serial port. I have a device that uses the old style serial cable. What are my options? (e.g. is there an adapter available?) Thanks

there are serial to usb adapters. a thread on this about a month ago yielded a site where you could purchase them. try doing a search and you shall find the answer. 🙂
