"Vacation" by the Go-Gos has always been one of my favorites.
Had it on a cassette once, and had been working some killer hours for a very long time. All I wanted was a vacation.
Every evening on the 2-1/2 hour drive home, I would play it, rewind it, play it, etc.

It's been 4 years now since I've had a vacation, I have the video clip on my laptop, I still break it out and play it occasionally.
(The boss says I can take "a couple" of months off once I get this project finished, hopefully before Labor Day!)

Edit: I could go on and on, the 80's seemed to be the best years of my life, and nearly all my favorites from that era bring back some very fond memories.

Push it to the limit! Past the point of no return, reached the top but still you've gotta learn how to keep it!

In no particular order:

Blue Monday - New Order
Oh L'amour - Erasure
99 Luftballons - Nena
Enjoy the Silence and Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode
Opportunities - Pet Shop Boys
Heart of Glass - Blondie

I think those were my favorites growing up.

I hadn't heard this song in such a long time! I just started cracking up at the end when he says:

Oh girl, you know I love you... I just want you to know my love will always treasure you, so please just don't let me go

 Good times!
