if you don't play games, i suggest a GF2 MX or GF4 MX that has PCI connection. some has tv-out as well

also nice and cheap are radeon 7000 or 7500LE.

or a TNT2 or something old might be good.

look on newegg. try its refurb section too

Or auctions. You might get like a whole box of video cards for 20 bucks. :) A P133 isn't going to run anything that uses the power of a GF2 or higher, even a TNT2 is way more than enough, so just get whatever you can find cheapest that's not older than maybe a Riva128 card. Or a Matrox Millennium, arguably one of the best 2D cards of its time.

A used voodoo3 2000 PCI for $20 would be a great card, if overpowered, but at that speed anything PCI will work fine for 2D.

If you look through ForSale/ForTrade forum you should find something under $10, or www.pcliquidators.com has a mystery-card for $12 and a 4 MB Virge S3 for $15.

A card I hated back in '96 because it was almost impossible to get it to play nice in my Micron P133 at work :| :)

The "more info" button says it's not one card though, it's whatever they happen to be salvaging from machines that week, so with luck viking1966 might get something else.
