Heh, I havn't played any master of orion since the first one came out.. oh.. a decade ago or so. Plopped down with MOO2 and put it on the easiest setting. Beat it in a few hours. Now I crank up the difficulty and drive on 😛

I played that game for 16 hours one time. I'd like to see a modern version based on Rise of Nations. A freind of mine Bought MOO3 and wasn't to impressed so I skipped it.

yeah, i heard MOO3 was horrible as well. big disappointment

MOO2 is awesome!! I found my cd a couple of months ago, and have been playing it quite a bit. One thing that I recommend is that you download the update patch. I had never updated it in all the time I played it before, and it totally changes the game, especially the diplomacy aspect.

I picked up MOO3 at EB Games used for $5 a few weeks ago. The $5 price should have set off my sh!tty game alarm, but I decided to try it anyway.

I want my $5 back...............🙁

Microprose made some kickass games back in the day. 🙂 I was playing Xcom the other day and it's still as fun as when it first came out.
