Old Reliable, Rock Solid PC Having Hardware Related Startup Issues

Yikes, this thing can't die yet! 1Ghz Celeron Socket-370 with AOpen Slotket mounted on AOpen AX6BC with 256MB RAM.

PC boots up and freezes after < 1 minute. It can go to the BIOS setup screen, but will freeze at the same < 1 minute mark. Of course, it seems to be heat related, but how do I figure out which component is at fault? I swapped out the video card with no improvement. Do I just keep swapping parts, or is there a quick way to figure this out?

Edit: Looks like she'll be around a while longer. Heatsink paste was all dried up! No biggie.
