Old Radeon 7000 - Anyway to get DVI before windows loads?

I have an old Radeon video card on my old PC and I want to be able to see the image before windows boots on my DLP as I don't have a monitor nearby. (DVI -> HDMI)

Unfortunately, the DVI output seems to not activate until it reaches windows. Is there a way around this?

It's likely a different brand, but on my old PCI Diamond 7000, it outputted through DVI for the POST all the way to Windows.
