Old Question but HEY!

It seems 1 GB isn't cutting it for me anymore. BF2, in all its buggyness, is a memory hog... at least IMO, but I love the game and would like to have it run smoothly. So:

Would 2 gb of PC3200 ram make the gameplay a lot smoother? Because everytime I enter a map it takes like 5 minutes for me to stop being so laggy (plus, my HDD light keeps blinking so I know its swapping data since there is a shortage of available ram).

I run the game at 1280x1024, medium w/ 3 high settings, and 4 AA, dynamic shadows/light low, and 90% visibility. I run it on a EVGA 6800GT AGP on a P4 2.8HT 800FSB with 1GB of Geil PC3200 ram.

Upgrade to 2x1GB sticks. Makes a lot of difference and it's not like memory requirements for games are decreasing.
