I have run across a network with an old print server. It is an old HP JetDirect. From what I have read it only supports IPX/SPX. If I map the IPX/SPX from the server can I share the printer via TCP/IP and have the workstations use TCP/IP to print? So basically the server will act as a bridge from TCP/IP to IPX/SPX.

Thoughts? Am I a crazy man?

I think that you may need to install the appropriate jetdirect software on the server machine first, but in principle it's doable. The thing to remember is that the printer needs to be installed as a local device on the server before you can share it. In TCP/IP this can be done by creating a standard TCP/IP port on the server and then installing a local printer which prints on that port. I belive that there is an IPX analogue so you should be fine.
