OLD PEOPLE

what the HELL are you always chewing on?!

i dont mean to generalize, but it seems that the elderly (usually males) are always chewing on something. it's not gum, or food - what the hell is it?!?

Maybe left-over food from lunch that got stuck in their dentures.

I can do that with coconut. It's the snack that just keeps coming back! (grin)

What I don't get about old people is that no matter what they're eating they always looking like they're crunching on it. Apples, bread, cream of wheat, they put a small bite in their mouth... chew until the teeth are almost touching again and STOP... and then abruptly bring the chew full circle like a big crunch.

Kid jerky. We don't much like you young'uns, and when we can get away with it we salt one of yas up and dehydrate you in our basements (which btw is where we keep 350 spare cans of every foodstuff, you can never have too much, especially when it's on sale).

Brian: "Peter calm down. He's just your father"
Peter: "Yeah but i love him. His folky racisim, his "I don't care where I am" flagelance, and the way it always seems like he's chewing even when there's no food in his mouth."
