Old motherboard and new PSU

I just got a Compusa brand PSU ( 24 pin) for an old compaq motherboard (20 pin). Is there a converter for 20-Pin Motherboard Power Connector to 24-Pin ATX Power Supply. The only converter I can find are for 20-Pin ATX Power Supply to a 24-Pin ATX Motherboard Power Connector. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Or it can be plugged in with the four extra pins hanging off the end of the 24 pin ATX socket...If nothing is in the way, like a coil, cap or IDE port.
