Old MB, ram question

If it's anything like newer boards that have space for SDRAM and DDR, probably not. As it could cause your board swear at you. (Those wonderful strings of beeps you get when something on the board doesn't like you... :disgust: )
You could always try, and see what happens though... You'd probably get "sworn" at, but i don't think it would cause any damage.
 
Accoriding to the manual that you can grab Link to the PDF you can use both dimm and simms

But there are some restrictions as in you cannot use Dimm0 and Simm0 or Dimm1 and Simm1 at the same time
