Old Lucasarts Games

This urge hits me a lot more often than I'd like to admit...

I really want to play some Monkey Island, Full Throttle, DotT, MM, Grim, etc! Greatest group of games ever created and I always run into a brick wall trying to find them in some form of legal distribution that will actually run on current day PCs. Any ideas?

Ebay and Amazon are how I download mine as well. A few days after placing the order the download completes in the form of a CD right in my physical mailbox. It's amazing! I've had to pay between $20 and $60 for some of these old Lucasarts games though.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis from LucasArts was also fantastic! One of the best Indy games for sure.

Physical copy from ebay plus ScummVM is your best bet for playing on a modern computer.

ScummVM is simple to run, as well.

That's what I used to run Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. The game ran perfectly on it.

A bit offtopic, but I would love to see Lucas Arts to make new versions of those original Tie Fighter/X-Wing simulators. I played those soooo much when they were new. Luckily I have the original discs still in my bookshelf 🙂 I will try those later today 😛

edit: typos.

LucasArts hasn't made anything decent in ages.

I know that, but I think the X-Wing/Tie-Fighter simulators were best games Lucas Arts have ever made (in my opinion). I can always hope.

Which titles did you have to pay $20-60 for? I have a huge collection of old Lucasarts games, and if I can that kind of money 😀
