Hello

I was given a Old Compaq (LTE5300) LTE 5300 laptop. I am giving this to a family that doesnt have a PC and it will be something that they can play games on and once they get a battery for it they can be mobile with it instead of using the Dock its connected to. I am having a small problem with windows 95 I have never seen this error before: Here is what I did in this order - Just trying to narrow down if there is something I forgot to do. Here is what I did in order when installing Windows 95

Swapped the CD and floppy drive out

Floppy drive is in the PC
Booted to windows 95 floppy disk
F-disked the HD
Turned the PC off and back on
Booted to the Windows 95 floppy disk
Formatted the HD
Transferred the system files to the HD from the Floppy sys c:
Removed the windows 95 floppy disk
installed the CDrom drivers from floppy disk
Turned the PC off - Put in the CD rom drive - removed the floppy drive
Turned the PC on
Put in the Windows 95 CD
Went to the D drive
started setup from the Windows 95 CD
Windows 95 installed completely
When I restarted the PC I get this error - And it wont go any further:

When I start the PC it goes through the BIOS steps Press F10 for setup - Then it changes screen still in the black screen - here is the text I get:

Copyright 1996-97 compaq Computer corp. All rights reserved

120MHZ pentium processor
External cache: 256K enabled
Starting windows 95...

Then I get this error:

The configuration specified in your config.sys file is to large for memory. remove some drivers, And try again.

Then it stays on this screen and doesnt go any further.

Any ideas will be appreciated..

I have tried changing settings in Config.sys as well as the Autoexec.bat and still cannot figure this out: It has 64MB Ram so its got enough memory top operate windows 95..

Any ideas is appreciated :) Thanks
