old Laptop CPU upgrade question

I have a ASUS L5C that came with a Northwood 2.66. At the time I also found out that L5C series also comes with models fitted with Northwood 2.8 HT editions. That was 3 years ago.

Now since I'm a poor student with no funding for new comps I'm considering swaping out my current 2.6 non-HT for a second-hand 2.8 HT for a cheap upgrade. However the ones I found are 800MHz FSB while my origional has 533MHz FSB.

Therefore now I'm wondering what would happen if I actually stick the 800MHZ into it. CPUZ identifies my North Bridge as a SIS 648.
