I left an apartment nearly a year ago and was just recently able to receive my security deposit. I wouldn't have cared, but $425 is a good bit of money to just walk away from when he has no reason to hold it. After a bit of legal action, I got my money back at a cost....

My precious money.

Hope this makes you guys smile, I had to laugh about it. Click the pics to enlarge.

Always stand up for yourself!

My question is, how did he get all those coins? Did he walk into a bank and ask for it? That'd take a lot of guts, unless he has that crochety old man thing going for him. :p

1.) I think you need to spend some of that cash and get a faster internet connection
2.) That's a lot of pennies!

Perhaps several trips to several banks? I don't know. Some people will do anything just to prove they are a d!ck.

That doesn't look like $425 to me. He is also an idiot for sending cash. He can not prove it an should of used a check or money order. I would take him back to court and make him prove it.

I was thinking the same thing.

"Dear Sir, my client has informed me that the damage deposit money you recently refunded was in fact short of the total amount of $425.00 by three cents. Please correct this error as soon as possible before we are forced to take further legal action." :)

That's pretty damn funny. ;) I'd say CoinStar, but you would lose some of your money....find someone with one of those cheap coin sifters so you can at least separate them into different coins, and then have tubes that are marked to indicate how much you have

enjoy ^_^

LOL!

Funny. Now take the money to the bank and make a deposit. $425 is a good amount of money.
Hmmm.... maybe you should upgrade or something.

Actually a quart of pennies is ~$80. That pile looks right.

Sorry about the speed/ports... all compliments of Verizon and their crappy 128 upload and blocking port 80 :|
