Old Intel 875PBZ Beep Code

I updated an Unbuntu installation on an old Intel 875PBZ 3.2G computer and suddenly, it would not post. This computer has always been rock solid, even though it is pretty old, this is the first time for this kind of issue. The fans spin up and mobo lights come on, but no display of any kind. I put an Ubuntu installation disc in the DVD player and it appears to be reading the disc, but nothing else happens. There are some motherboard beeps; sounds like two beeps, a short pause, then five beeps. After checking the mobo spec sheet, I'm not sure if it is a two beep plus a five beep problem or seven beep problem. If it is a seven beep problem, that's a CPU exception error; not good.

Any input or advice on this before I spend time trying to fix an old computer that may or may not have given up the ghost?
