Old Hard Drive in a New System

Brand new system and I have three hard drives. One of which I will be installing when I first set up the pc. This drive was the F: drive on my old PC, but it will now be the system drive. Using Windows XP setup, will it be recognized as the F: drive? or will it be automatically defaulted to C:

The reason I am using this drive instead of the old system drive is because two of my hard drives are raptors, and one is still in my old system. If things go wrong, I'd like to have my old system to default to for the time being.
