I'm basically a Linux middle-experienced user. I can find my way around, and troubleshoot SOME stuff, but I still struggle with it. I mean, I can use VI, install basically any distro (slack and debian are still slow going, but I can do it), but my fluency in Linux command line is sub-par. I have to "man" a lot of stuff still. What really gets me in the mud is when I'm following tutorials, and things arent' exactly like the tutorial says they are. (IE.....in RH 7.0, when I used it, it took me forever to realize xinet.d's usage, and how to apply settings to it instead of inet.d)

Anyway. I've read here and there about people taking Linux and putting it on Old Windows CE devices. I've got an old HP Jornada that's about the size of a really really thick wallet. The battery doesn't hold a charge, so I don't use it, and it's com port only---but how in the hell do you even do it? It does work fine in the cradle though

I'd get a helluva kick putting Linux on that ah heck, but I've got no idea how. It's an old Jornada like the one Here. Anyone have any experience in trying something like this? Or have any suggestions before I start on the great hunt for *nix on CE devices?
